Training Support Sessions provide practical, one-on-one support for dogs working on everyday skills such as loose lead walking, recall foundations, focus around distractions, environmental exposure, and general manners.
Designed to complement the work you’re already doing at home, these sessions help dogs gain valuable experience in real-world environments while continuing to work towards their training goals.

These sessions are particularly well suited to dogs working on:

For more complex behaviour concerns such as reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, separation-related behaviours, or multi-dog conflict, a Behaviour Consultation is recommended.
How Training Support Sessions work
What's the process?
Complete an initial consultation so we can understand your dog, your goals, and determine whether Training Support Sessions are the right fit.
Once approved, your dog will be collected from home and taken to an appropriate training environment where we can work one-on-one on their individual goals.
Following each session, you’ll receive a progress update and guidance on how to continue supporting your dog’s progress at home.
How are sessions delivered?
Your dog will be collected from home and transported to an appropriate training location based on their individual goals.
Sessions are conducted one-on-one and may include work in parks, public spaces, walking environments, or other suitable locations where skills can be safely developed and practised.
Training Support Sessions are booked in blocks of four sessions to help build consistency and momentum.
How much will it cost?
Training Support Sessions are $110 per session.
A minimum block of four sessions is required.
An initial consultation is required before booking.
Is travel included?
Pickup and drop-off within Tauranga is included in the session fee.
Training locations are selected based on your dog’s goals and individual needs.
